November 27, 2005 - And it was Very Good
The site is pretty much done now. The navigation menu looks a whole lot better, I've added a little story section which isn't that great, but sorta gives an idea of the story and setting, there's now an encyclopedia which is far from complete, equally far from interesting, but still there, and I've added a shoutbox and forum which I'm hoping someone will eventually use someday. I'll get to the characters section when I have time, and also add a download section with the few semi-interesting Shards-related downloadable things I have at the moment as soon as I figure out how you're supposed to say "download" in the Kha'rlari language.
November 21, 2005 - Worlds A-Shifting
My apologies for the few people who have stumbled across my page while I was in the process of changing the page format (which usually resulted in different exceedingly ugly pages coming up every time the page was reloaded). Due to the way those Keentag things work, it's difficult for me to actually test a page offline first. As a result, I'm constantly uploading a page over and over. Despite my best attempts at finding some colour scheme that looked nice, but didn't involve lots of black, I've ended up falling back on the same theory I use in clothes: if 90% of it is black, not even someone like me can goof up the colour coordination.

There's now a guestbook, a navigation menu, an archive (with a stunning collection of a single comic), and a banner that I'll improve upon later. For now, the page should be fairly stable, though I'll still be doing minor cosmetic changes, and perhaps add a forum, shoutbox, and other nicknacks. Future plans will include a section summarizing the setting, the story (once there is a story to summarize), a characters section (once the characters actually show up), and in the long term, a section, for anyone highly curious or equally bored, that will have information on the world (such as the Kha'rlari language, which is the funny script in the background of the banner).
November 19, 2005 - And There was Much Rejoicing...
Under the highly improbable assumption that I actually set everything up correctly, today is (hopefully) the birth of Shards! The current plan is to update the comic every two weeks, on Saturdays. I may change this in the future once I get a better feel for how fast I can crank strips out.

Over the next few weeks, I will be feebly attempting to create a page that is a bit more interesting than this ugly gray one, so expect sporatic changes to the format, colour schemes, navigation, and other such things.
