I would really like to apologize for the lack of updates after so long, especially after Shards has only begun. The good news is that no, the comic hasn't died. However, due to a lot of stuff going on, large issues with not being able to draw characters, still, and the fact I'm going to be graduating in a few months and I'm trying to get my life in order for what happens after, I'm putting Shards on hold for the time until I can not only get things going again, but get a small buffer of pages to try to be more consistent for when it does start up.

Sorry about the delay for the update today. I was hoping for once I could pull off something consistently on schedule. Unfortunately, due to mostly Christmas-related events and such, I wasn't able to actually finish the comic on time. I'm currently working on colouring in the third to last panel (out of like 11, if you count this quick series of little panels as a single one). And today I'll be gone most of the day due to Real Life(TM). But I'll try my bestest to at least get it out by Monday (hopefully before). After this comic, I'll have a buffer of a few pages, so hopefully, this won't happen again.

I managed to quickly finished the page for tomorrow just a few moments ago. You may rejoice at this time. Anyway, it should be up on time, assuming I figured out how to use the update system Comic Genesis has correctly. If not, the comic will be up as soon as I figure out what went wrong.

Yeah, I know. I just started the comic and it's already happened. Today, I looked over the way I presented the storyline and made some significant changes to the order, made some big additions, and other such things. As a result, while I actually have 2 pages ready to post, it turns out the next couple of pages in the storyline are part of the new additions. So, I'm currently rushing to try to finish the pages in time. Unfortunately, I have a lot of school works and finals approaching, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to manage that. I certainly will try, though! It'd be a shame to get off schedule right after I made up the schedule.
